ENGLAND boss Gareth Southgate will announce his 23-man squad for the World Cup in Russia TODAY.
The national side have two friendlies before they travel to Russia and rumours circulating over who has made the plane will finally be put to rest.
When will Southgate make the announcement?
THE squad for the World Cup in Russia is set to be revealed TODAY, Wednesday, May 16.
It is thought that the announcement will come at about 1pm.
Southgate will sit each of them down individually and explain his decision.

Which players do we already know have NOT made it?
SOUTHGATE is unable to chose Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Joe Gomez through injury.
Liverpool midfielder Oxlade-Chamberlain was ruled out of the tournament and part of the Red’s season after suffering knee ligament injury in their Champions League semi-final first leg against Roma.
Gomez, who is also part of Jurgen Klopp’s side, is ruled out after undergoing ankle surgery.
It was reported on Tuesday that goalkeeper Joe Hart and midfielder Jack Wilshere have been left out of the squad.

When are the England friendlies before the World Cup?
THE 23-man squad have two international friendlies before the fly out to Russia.
On Saturday, June 2 England will face Nigeria at Wembley Stadium, with kick-off at 5.15pm.
Southgate’s squad are also going to face Costa Rica at Elland Road on Thursday, June 7 at Elland Road.

When is the World Cup?
ENGLAND’s World Cup campaign starts on Monday, June 18 with their first group match against Tunisia.
In Group G they will also face Panama (Sunday, June 24) and Belgium (Thursday, June 28).
If they win their group, England will face the runners-up of Group H which consists of Colombia, Japan, Poland and Senegal.
The final of the World Cup will be held on Sunday, July 15.
